We installed one on a GP. You have to take the aero panels out from under the GP is all.

Scooby, I was really hoping you'd say something like, "To install it on the GP, you're going to need a trick, new grounding connection."

You're right -- it needs one of those SECRET stickers next to it. That would be awesome.

No can do for the group buy. I'm aiming for a Borla exhaust within weeks of my return to US. I'm in real bad need for a rear sway bar. My suspension keeps pushing real bad with all that new 15% goodness.

Any updates on this? Or is it canceled so everyone can get their exhaust?

lestat is out. That makes but three.

No deal.

So, go order the exhaust. I'm probably going to contact our beloved Brad / Scooby and order it anyway -- loesches, Smiley, if you want to try and combine an order, that'd be fine -- email me and I'll work with Brad on something.

Now -- where to get that Borla exhaust....

Abuzavi,

I am stil in on this. Let me know what the deal is and I will go along with it. Maybe M7 will still give us a good deal without the group buy. I don't know.

Oh yeah - when you do your install, REMOVE the nuts from the bolts that hold together the front brace and put some loctite on them, then reassemble, and tighten well after it's installed. And re-tighten after a few hundred miles.

I tightened mine really tight - but after a few thousand miles they were FINGER TIGHT or less - you could hear one of them rattling at idle... now mine are loctited.

THX for the tip Blimey! I will make sure to put some loctite on there.

I can't wait to get this thing installed and try it out. I have it out of the box and have been staring at it for the past hour. It is almost too nice to put under the car!

It really is almost too pretty to bolt on the bottom of your car...

Works as good as it looks, though, luckily...

And the difference in the ride quality with the bolts TIGHT vs. LOOSE is night and day - when it's loose, it's like it isn't even on there. Tighten them up, and it's like you just put it on again... it got loose over time so I kinda just thought I was getting used to it - but handling was actually degrading very slowly as it loosened up.

Pictures of the USS before installation and Tango before and after. Of course, full report (including damages, er.., MODS) expected and required!! With snaps, too!!

Cheers!!
