Mirror Tap

Hi There,

I'm looking to hardwire my Valentine V1. Has anyone used a MirrorTap to tap into the 12v circuit that goes to the rear view mirror for a radar detector?

The rear view mirror can be easily tapped, just know that when the car is switched off power continues to be drawn for a min or so. It will work perfectly fine.

Which wire to tap into for power? I got the ground wire figured out, it's the brown one.
