Tap wire for Radar Detector with manual rear view mirror
My 2018 Mini Countryman has a manual rear view mirror. In looking at the "tap wire" power for my Uniden R3 , but you have to have a self dimming or power mirror to wire it up.
Has anyone mounted a radar detector under the mirror and tapped off 12V somewhere near the mirror? Looked for a youtube but couldn't find one.
