Showed this app to my builder when we were troubleshooting the HPFP issue on the new engine. He was amazed this much functionality was available in an app as well as how much faster and easier it was to use compared to an AutoLogic BMW box. Granted there's a lot of things it can't do like update your engine ECU...but it doesn't cost $11,000.00 either.

Welp, I just took the plunge and spent $45. (plus $25 on the adapter..) going to go play with it now.
Got my Adapter from these folks - http://www.ebay.com/usr/interfuse-mo...p2047675.l2559

WOOOOO HOOOO!
Car now unlocks when its turned off.
Power windows work after the key is off or a door was opened
Can roll up windows with key fob
DISABLED the stupid "auto correction" for the speedo readouts!
DISABLED the digital speedo and got my time/temp readout in my tach cluster!!!!!!!!!
YEA!!
One minor quibble, I can't seem to code the Footwell Module (FRM). I've sent him an e-mail.

The Bluetooth dongle will only work with android. If you have an iPhone, you need a wifi dongle. Even then, some dongles are wonky and only allow certain functions. The only one guaranteed by BMWhat is their own dongle. And it's $65. You can give yours a try with the BMWhat free app.

Oops change of plans. I ordered the iCar 3 which was just released. The ICar IV350 and iCar 2 support identical OBDII protocols and operate using IEEE802.11 b/g wifi which means they have 20Mhz of bandwidth, a maximum data transmission rate of 54Mbit with a 50 ft transmission range. The newest model supports all the same protocols but operates using 802.11 b/g AND n. 40Mhz of bandwidth, 150Mbit data rate and 120 foot range. Will report when I test it out. Should be compatible with BMWhat and faster than the Kiwi II wifi adapter I've been using with DashCommand.

No it's really more aimed for the more common coding changes made and reading and clearing codes. It recognizes and reads/clears 16 ECU's in my 2011 R56. To do heavier coding tasks like retrofits or incremental adjustments to speedometer accuracy etc you need INPA/NCS, DIS/GT1 or ISTA. The first two are not that difficult to use but a bit of a pain to set up. Never used ISTA personally so I can't comment on that one.

I just received my dongle from ivini. Links right up with my iPhone 6 and my '14 R60 all4 s.
So far I coded:
-Adjusted speedo on digital read out. Reads the correct speed now. I tried the swing speedo but doesn't respond to it. Not sure why. It's ok because I never look at that.
-window control without key in ignition
Still looking for some useful coding. All in all fast and easy.
