Antenna replacement

Okay. This is a lame question, I know: how do you replace a broken antenna on an r56... There is a short stub still on the mount. Do I just pull it out and push in the replacement? Or are there wiring things to do (I could see a wire spiraling around the antenna before it was broken--now missing)?

FYI - any of these antenna's will work and they seem to be the cheapest that I could find online.

Because "cheapest" is always the number one concern when outfitting ones Mini... Sigh.

Why not get the best? Or the best value..... Cheapest kinda implies junk...
Best car, best oil, best gas....cheapest replacement part/mod?!
Lol...us mini drivers are an interesting bunch....
Thousands of pages arguing over the best oil, best tune, no matter the price... But if one can save ¢99 ...wow!! Stop the presses!!

Obviously sarcasm is unheard of here... My "cheap" bona fides are listed below.

Hahahahaha. It's a replacement antenna. I don't think a $15-20 antenna is going to junk your car up.

Thanks for the link, and yes: it's a wire in plastic. Hell I feel like $14 is high-priced....
