NCS Expert Directory
Hey everyone!
Since modifying a MINI's ECU has a great deal of benefits, but requires some investment in a cable and has a steep learning curve, I've decided to start a directory for those who don't want to take the plunge. Please reply to this forum if you have successfully programmed with NCS Expert and are comfortable with modifying someone else's ECU!
Please include your state and region (if applicable) in your reply!
I'll go through the thread once in a while and post contacts in this post once we get more people to reply!
Cheers everyone!

Sounds like maybe a time for MINI clubs to meet up. I know our SWFL MINIs is coming to the Miami Zoo next weekend but I will be out of town for business and cannot attend, but maybe a interclub mod party is in order.

Nobody at Minis of Miami has asked me to do theirs yet, but I'm happy to help. Let me know if you make it over this way.

Hey, if this is an open offer, I'm in Miami and just got my Mini and am looking into what types of things can be done through the software mods. Might be getting back to you soon if your offer is still open.

I successfully used NCSEXPERT to code some dealer programmable options (daytime running lights, auto door unlock on stop, etc.).
Bothell, WA. (Seattle Area)
I'd like to change the fuel consumption factor for my onboard computer. There is no option to do this on the speedometer test mode.
Does anyone know if this can be done with NCSExpert?

*updated*
I'm in Dallas TX, have successfully retrofitted the heated seats and feel reasonably comfortable doing most updates in NCSexpert. My experience to date are VO changes, WB activate and legal disclaimer removal on the navigation.

I might be able to help you out as well. I've coded my R53 and the R56 does not look like it is all that different. Hardest part of the whole process is figuring out how to interpret the various mostly German language configuration options.
