"calforhelp" is in SoCal and did mine a while back. Not sure if he's still offering his services. Doesn't look like he's very active on the forum anymore.

Re-code my mini?

What kind of stuff can you do?
I would love to have the doors unlock, have a one touch sunroof, and have it stop telling me my LED parking lights are out... Heck, the windows roll down with the key fob, but they don't roll back up! Can you do that too?

Pm me if you still do this in the Seattle area (I'm stuck on Whidbey island!)

Thanks in advance!

I'd like to change the fuel consumption factor for my onboard computer. There is no option to do this on the speedometer test mode.

Does anyone know if this can be done with NCSExpert?

I'm in Hollywood FL and have the cable / software if anyone would like to borrow and code their cars, maybe at one of the local meetups which I have yet to attend.... Good reason to go to one of these meetings I suppose.

Joining in the "necro"posting. Anyone in the NY/CT area willing to help out? My issue is I don't have an available Windows PC and I read there's no Mac alternative.

Maybe this will help (Running windows on mac without rebooting):

http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/

Anyhow, you can install windows on your mac parallel to Osx.

I also do not have a Windows laptop but use Bootcamp to Windows 7-64 bit on a MacBook Pro.

Never have had any issues running NCS Expert this way. Many people are also using Fusion or Parallels, but Bootcamp is free.

Awesome, thanks both of you. I actually do have a Parallels environment running but was under the impression that wasn't the answer. OK, just need to order a cable then.

Northern Virginia?

Hi everyone - I didn't see any recent postings for Northern Virginia, so thought I'd cast out a request. I'm located in Arlington, but can meet up in any of the surrounding areas.

Just bought a 2014 Countryman Cooper S All4. My top interest is in having the doors unlock when removing the key/fob. I've seen some other features listed and would be interested in suggestions, too.

John

calforhelp,
I am in Studio City and would be ever grateful if your offer still is good. I have a 07 S convertible and would love to be able to control the opening and closing of the top with the key fob if possible. My S is a r52. Thanks
