I have a friend in the Seattle area that has done his Countryman, and is going to help with my R56. He could probably help, pretty expert at it.

Sounds like you already have some help regarding your Countryman. I haven't coded one yet, just my R56. I would have to start from scratch in addition my weekends are spent up north.

On another note, hope to see you at the Tulip Rallye this Sat, 21 April at the Cascade Mall.

I sold my MINI to buy a 1 series convertible. But I do have the DCan OBD cable and NCSexpert tool running. If anyone wants to check out what they can do with their MINI, send me an email to minixtc@me.com. I would be glad to meet up in Old Twn Alexandria and do a little coding. The only thing I won't do is make a change that would be illegal, or flash an ECU. But things like folding mirrors, sunroof control with the fob, etc, I have gotten to work on the BMW, so they should work on MINIs as well.

Been tinkering with this a bunch. Not sure but my cable might be bad. Anyone around Nebraska doing this? I have a 2011 Clubman S that I would like to get a couple things tweaked.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Not sure how hard it is to do but I know a few time I have been asked to add my location to a group function or location map on forums to help people locate others.

Basically you follow a few instructions on a google map and it helps people find other people and graphically see where everyone is. I would love to play with and experiment with NCS Expert but only with supervision and direction of an expert who has tried this before and done it.

So, can we do this?
Also, anyone in Florida, preferably SWFL (lol) that can help me?

I am looking for someone in the Baltimore/Washington DC Metro area. Please let me know if there is anyone that is good with NCS Expert as I am willing to pay. I just do not want to give the dealer their rate (way too high). I would like the following:

1. Rear fogs
2. Windows up & Sunroof closed with key fob
3. One touch sunroof open

Greetings. Which MINI do you have? How old is it? I successfully programmed the windows and sun roof control with the key fob. I would be glad to look at your car for me. Send me a note to m i n i x t c @ m e dot c o m

For rear fog(s) that depends on if you have a switch installed. Or do you just want to make them come on as brake lights? The sunroof is a two touch operation. First push of the button raises the roof, second opens it fully. Same with closing.

I have a 2011 MCS automatic. I have the switch for the rear fogs...all I need is the programming.

I'm available to help anyone in the Los Angeles area. PM/email me for more details.

I've done all of the worthwhile mods to my my R56N and I'm willing to try any other vehicle out.

I'm now pretty confident about offering retrofitting as well. I've retrofitted a H/K amp into an '09 and an '08 R56 with HiFi radio for another member. I've also coded rear fogs on an '07.

I'm planning a coding party this Sunday 9/9/12 at noon. We will be meeting on the top floor of the parking garage in front of Target at the Glendale Galleria.

I'll code anything you want for $20, I only ask for the small payment to help me regain some of the money I've spent getting NCS Expert working on my computer.

If you have any questions PM me!

Here's a map, we are meeting at the green arrow.

We'll be glad to have you! I've only ever coded on my 2011 so far but as long as the V46.3 datens are compatible with '07's we should be good to go!

It was great meeting all of you too. I'll work on figuring out your auto-up windows and hopefully we can get that working too.

Hope to see you guys at a meet or something soon!
