Question OBD / Onboard Computer reading/resets

I've been looking around for a means of accessing the Onboard Computer to run diagnosis (troubleshooting) and for daily maintenance, etc.. What are you using to do this?

Thanks for the help!

I just learned from GeoffreyM about the NCS Expert (interface, software, etc...). Lots of information on the subject, but I'm not sure how much of the information (that I've found) is relevant to the R60; i.e. does the BMW INPA K+CAN that works perfectly on a R56 will it work on the R60 too (same question for software and NCS dummy?

Information was gathered from this Thread...

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...beginners.html

I'm still doing research, and will try to provide a one-stop-shop for our vehicles (in the end, it very well maybe already done via link above...just not sure yet).

All work fine. The computer is the same. There are a couple of modules that haven't made it through the various channels yet to make changing some of the newest features possible. They'll get here eventually. THere really only needs to be one computer/connected based Sub-Forum for this. There is no difference between a R60 and a R56, R57, or R58 when it comes to the computer stuff.
