Blinglights

seen a few posts with the name but not the info i need... they look easy enough to put in, then i guess i'd wire in a switch to my dash somewhere ( 08 justa w/o fogs)

Yea, nay, or can someone recommend something good and similar?

look too small for my personal taste. I personally have hella 500's and they costed $50 new from 4x4connection.com. But if you like them go for it.
The wiring is not hard at all.

Small yes, but the fact that they're supposed to fit into the stock locations is what i like most about them.

"2001-2008" Chassis codes changed in 06 unless it was the convert which changed in 2008 so these look to be fit for r53's.

I made my bracket from the local hardware store for $7.xx or so, looks factory fitted. Fitting them to the jcw grille is easy though.

Yeah those are made for the 1st gen cars and fit well.

Bur for 2nd gen car they are kind of small the OEM fog light is 4" in diameter so the 3-1/2" will look kind of small in the 4" opening. And then there will me a mounting issue where you may have to make a custom mount for it to get it in the correct place.

BTW just because an e-bay seller says it will fit does not mean that it will.

There were 2008 convertibles - they were the R52 body, essentially the same as the 2005-2007.
