It came stock on my BMW. It was a nice option you could turn on and off. Sometimes I miss that and my heated mirrors.

I'm interested in knowing how well this works as well. I hate that my Mini doesn't have this feature.

Anybody find instructions for the R56? I've already got curb-rash on two of my winter wheels. Would be nice to have this on my next MINI.

Now that I've got my summer alloys back on and doing lots of parallel parking, I have been finding that moving my to torso to the right and lifting my head up is enough to see the curb in my right mirror to prevent curb rash.

Still it would be nice to have the auto down feature on the mirrors. It would have to have an east disable feature/switch though - I use my mirrors to back into my parking garage spot.

I still find I have trouble seeing how much room is behind my bumper because of the high belt-line of the Cooper.

Here is teh instruction manual for the added part.

http://www.kptechnologies.com/docs/M...stallation.pdf

now search the electrical forums for a link to the wiring diagrams for the car and that should be all you need to get this installed.
