Oh my gosh. So my birthday is technically next weekend, but since the bf is heading back to California Sunday we celebrated it tonight......he got me a sweet new front grille and HUGE Hella 500 Driving Lights!!!!!! I was going crazy! They are so awesome! I will post pictures as soon as I have some!

Did you get the grille with upper brackets or a full lower bar mount like Alta's. I am looking at Voltage's Lower Lip/bar and light set up, but only want two HELLA lights not all 4......

Thanks, but I was llooking for the link to the "Voltage's Lower Lip/bar and light set up" that was mentioned. I have a concern with mounting four lights acorss the grill. The R56 has a much smaller grill then the Classic did and air flow might be a problem.

How were the lights installed?

 

I was just talking to the folks at VIP about their quad light bar. I had some concern about reduced air flow with the extra lights and was told that there was very little air flow throught the top grill anyway. I went out and took a closer look and they were correct. Only the bottom slot is open and the upper slots are blocked with a plastic strip. I think I will go with the black honeycomb replacement becaue I think more "air flow" is a good thing. It also looks good. Armed with this information I will have quad lights before the summer is done.
