I suggest finding a high temp regular type bulb. It will probably meet your needs.

u have a few options, not all are legal and not all works
1) as suggested, something like sylvania silverstar would be the cheapest of all, increase the temp a bit to close to xenon colors

2) put in aftermarket HID kit on existing halogen housing, you'd get the HID look, without the HID performance, worst of all, you will blind oncoming drivers unless the aiming is done REALLY well...

3) put in a reflector in your current halogen setup, then add the HID kit. ALOT of custom work, but would be the best between looks and performance. there's some reflectors on ebay... just add HID and you should be good

4) Find a OEM Xenon setup, off a junked car, or find one on ebay, or whatever, best performance, but LOTS of wiring work, and computer upgrades... ultimately not worth your time

My suggestion will be get the 05 headlamps, I did it to my MCS 04 (whith HID), I just changed the headlamps, you may have to cut some wires and do some mods, but to me it is worth it, I love the OEM look.

Use the search button..

There's LOTS of info out there. 03 is plug and play if you swap w/ 02-04 xenons, and not 05+. The only car that takes the 05+ xenons is a car that already has 02-04 xenons.

I have an 03 with halogens, and I bought some 03 xenons. They were plug and play. If you want more info, do a search...

So a 2004 car with halogen lights won't be able to fit 05 xenons?

Yeah, the search option on this site isnt the best. They need an option to include threads that have ONLY the words you list. not every thread that has ANY words you list. I'll sell you my 04 xenons, real cheap

I switched from 05 halogens to 05 factory OEM projectors. Bought the lights from someone and had my ECU flashed with a AutoLogic tool and vooalllaahhh they worked. Here is the thread about it.
