Angel Eyes/ Halo lights

Hello NAM

Saw this Angel Eye kit from Ebay (pix below) probly for Bimmers (non mini)

I want to try and add Angel Eyes/ Halo Lights effect into my Front Lights
Is it possible/or anyone has Disassemble front Head Lights successfully?
(front Plastic cover best way?)

I have 05 with xenon option & planning to put this kit around the two plastic ring around the low beam area.

it would be really helpful if I can find some diagram of fron head light
assembly.

it was around $15 for 2 rings

PS: I've also seen the after market Front Head Lights for mini with /Blacked out chroms inside w/Angel Eyes, but too expensive for me.

I think a lot of the angel eye kits are universal by diameter. a lot of people have had luck dissasembling the headlights mostly to blackout the chrome. i havent done it tho. search headlight dissasembly in the forums and welcome to NAM

Oznium.com sells angel eyes too and you pick the size.

You could easily open up the headlights (search for ' joey mod ' ) and then add angel eyes in there.

I talk about the process a little in this thread at the bottom:https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=112027

And a pic of a custom job someone did.

Wow, Thanks RallyMini!

Found the Joey Mod thread, maybe I will do Joey Mod with the Halo light.
or maybe try Carbon Fiber Vinly wrap inside head light, also from Ebay.

Does anyone know if its possible to get those with an HID housing? I won't give up my D2R's for the halo/angel look regardless of how hot it is.

Eeehh, it looks nice and would be a hit at a car show but the light output dosen't look too good in some of the pics. And, to have to take the lights apart for it, no thanks. If I was taking them apart, I'd just paint 'em instead.

Wait are you talking the halos still? It's not like they are supposed to be functional and have actual light output.....They aren't meant to light up the road or anything

I know. I was just saying that in the pics, the actual headlight dosen't appear to putting out much light. I know that projectors are suuposed to aim the light in a better pattern but I myself wouldn't waste the money to lose light output and gain angel eyes. The look is sweet but not worth possiblty losing light intensity.

I would'nt use some ebay picture to determine the light level. A little photoshop here and there and they have a pic. The pic in the auction is to just show the product, not its entire range of functionality.
