Our dedicated '13 MINI Motorists of the Year (densan57) are once again hosting the group at their home in Davenport for our February gathering!

We will meet at their residence in Davenport on Saturday, February 22. Plan on arriving in the vicinity of 11:00 am. There is plenty of parking along the street out front on either side. The address, link to a map, and RSVP link can be found in our Event Calendar Entry (<--link).

Sandy will be whipping up a batch of meatballs and we'll have other snacks as well. Drinks to be provided too, perhaps some interesting contributions from Steve B. as in the past. If you decide you want to bring a snack item or something else to share (not required, but always appreciated) it would help if you identify your item in a post in this thread so others can see and plan accordingly.

This is one time I'm glad the Weather Service busted their local forecast. I wasn't looking forward to creeping my way home late tonight through the drifts and then spending all night digging out a path to extract the MINI tomorrow morning. Mommy Nature was finally kind to me for a change.

 

For those of you in need of a warm car wash tomorrow (you know who you are)! There is a Power Wash at 107 W. 53rd. St., just off of Welcome Way, across the street from Menard's, that has heated bays and also accepts credit cards. It is about 2.8 miles from our house.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for hosting everyone yesterday! Everything was wonderful, and it turned out to be a pretty nice weather day too (especially compared to what we have been seeing). It was sure great to see everyone!

Sorry we missed it. Sandy's mom died on 2/19/14 after a 15 year battle with Alzheimer's. The funeral is on 3/1/14 so we will be missing the Des Moines event also.
