Needed to put a schedule "stake in the ground" to accommodate this worthwhile charity event; thus, the presence of this EIM planning thread.

We've always looked for opportunities for fun gatherings that were also on behalf of a good, charitable cause -- and this looks like a good one. Thanks much to Ron for the idea. Cruisin' for Camp Courageous is one of Iowa's largest charity car shows and is accompanied by food, music, crafts, antiques, silent and live auctions, and many other activities. On top of that, it's an easy Sunday drive to get there.

Hmmm...I wonder if we'll be in Class SE (late model stock) or in the much more intriguing Class SM-C ("New Age" MINI)?

We're also signed up for the Camp Courageous. I see we have, at this time, a total of 3 participants. With 3 entries, we will need to meet somewhere the morning prior to the event in order to park together once we arrive at the Camp. I'm not sure where everyone lives, if it's Cedar Rapids we could meet at the HY VEE on the east side of Marion. If we're coming from other directions, we'll need to pick a difference place. It appears that we'll have 3 of us going to the CC event. With this number of cars, it's not practical for me to ask for a special Mini parking area. I suggest we meet at 8:30 at the Walmart in Anamosa (right off 151) and convoy to CC. By meeting prior, we can enter the grounds together and park as a group. If anyone else decides to attend, we'd welcome you at the meeting location. Please let me know if this works for those attending. The actual address of the Anamosa Walmart is;
