EIM at the HPMS MINIS Occupy Branson Event - 10-13 May
Yep, it's still a ways off; however, we're trying to organize interest in attending the High Plains Motoring Society's MINIs Occupy Branson event. The designated HPMS hotel for this event is the Chatateau on the Lake ($119 + tax at the group rate; call the hotel for reservations and tell them you're with the MINI group).
Please reply in this thread if you have a any sort of moderate to strong interest in joining your EIM motoring mates at this annual motoring event. Thanks!
----
General Event Info: "MINIs Occupy Branson" will be the 4th annual road trip by the High Plains Motoring Society (HPMS) which is composed of MINI club members and enthusiasts from Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and others Midwestern and Mountain states.
All official event information is provided though the private HPMS blog and web site (supplemented by EIM-specific planning info in this thread). If you have participated on a previous HPMS trip, you probably still have access to the site. If anyone is interested and needs access to the HPMS site, feel free to send a PM to me (Gil-galad) and I'll arrange for an email invitation. HPMS does not ask for any dues or registration fees. While there are a few centralized events planned by the organizers and preplanned drive maps available, most of the arrangements, activities, and events are do-it-yourself. The EIM participants have historically stayed together as a group for drives, dinners, etc. -- mostly because we enjoy each other's company!
Ask anyone who has attended any of the past three HPMS events and they'll tell you it's probably the most fun you can have in a MINI.

Yes! You just come and go as you please. It's all wonderful MINI fun. You will of course travel in the EIM caravan of MINIs won't you? Those details will be posted here when they are arranged. And don't forget the kickoff to the 2012 motoring season with the Border Skirmish in April.

Here's a link to an informative post over in the MINI5280 forum:

Be thinking about whether or not you'd be interested in joining the “Moonlight MINI Dinner Cruise” on Table Rock Lake.

I might be interested, if enough of our EMI friends sign up. I hope we can see a show while we're there. If anyone with Branson experience can advise us on that, we should be thinking of all the fun stuff we want to do! What fun!!

dean and Meenie, how many souls do you expect to bring along to Branson? Going solo or spouses/offspring too?

Does that mean you and Tom are coming too?
(Seems like I remember you jumping on the time share bandwagon at Bill and Alyce's, but I didn't see a post in this thread and started to get worried...)
