We have phone numbers to exchange, shows to narrow down, additional excitement to build............the list goes on
I suppose we'll be all tuckered out when we get there, but we should plan a little something to do. We might even be able to schedule the Balcony Party for that night (if I get the beverages cooled down).
The fun starts next week!

Balcony Party on Thursday evening is probably a good plan, since pontoon boats are tentatively planned (as far as we know) for Friday evening and some are contemplating going to a show Saturday evening.
OBTW, MS bsteig emailed me and let me know that HYPRRR06 (our resident artist and his spouse) won't be occupying Branson with us, as G's back is acting up on him.
However, bsteig's neighbor Jerry (a brand new '08 Cabrio owner) will be joining us in their stead.

Do we have an exact break down of exactly what we are doing as a group? Im trying to figure plan out what to do. Who else is staying at the Wyndham hotel?
I'm also trying to pick out what route to take there. Looks like you guys are leaving from Ainsworth, IA at 8:30a.m. Is there a place we are meeting together in Ainsworth? Google maps just says Vine Ave.? Need a location or address to plug into my GPS. I have about a hour and 20 min drive to you guys. I was also seeing when Bill and Alyce were leaving, I may try and meet with them(although its a bit out of my way)...
Just seeing what everyone is up to. Can't what to hangout with the group again... much to long.

Not exactly...we'll caucus and decide on good candidate drives for Friday and Saturday when we get there. Looks like the Balcony Party Thursday evening after arrival. I'm guessing there will be a large group meeting on Friday morning at the Chateau for all of the MINIs; if so, we'll find out more about what the others are planning, group pics, etc. I'm assuming the pontoon boats on the lake will still take place Friday evening; haven't heard any more on this from the planners. Some folks are contemplating a show Saturday evening. That's about it so far. Best thing to do is stay flexible so you can adapt as necessary.
If I'm not mistaken, I think pretty much all of the Iowa clan is staying there.
The BP Station at Ainsworth Four Corners -- it's right smack dab in front of you when you take the exit. Can't miss it.
Coordinates for your GPS are 41 deg 17 min 27.2 sec North, 91 deg 32 min 9.4 sec West.

Purchased new radios with sub channels, weather scan and a flashlight built in!
Got Gozer's interior detailed this weekend. Plan to get the outside done tomorrow night/Wednesday afternoon. Sure am getting antsy to go!

Actually it has a compass!! No calculator-I have one on my phone. No can opener but I keep a bottle opener in my glove box
Is there one main meeting spot set up? If so...where?
I'm going to be running down Friday night to grab some food at the landing, I'll make sure to drive through Branson to see where all of the mini's are

Well, of course I've waited til the last minute to pack!! Scramble!!
Weather looks okay for the trip...mid 70's during the day and mid 50's in the evening through the end of the week. Partly cloudy on Friday and overcast on Saturday...Thunderstorms rolling in while we are rolling out on Sunday.
