At the parade today, a bunch of EIMers got together and decided it would be good fun to take a drive up to Gays Mills, WI for the first day of their famous Apple Festival (especially since our October events are closer to the end of the month). It'll be a great time of the year for a drive in that neck of the woods.

Edit: Rendezvous instructions are posted in a subsequent posting. Final meet-up point is at 10:00 am in Boscobel, WI. Denny and Sandy will lead us north from Boscobel on one of their prime motorcycle routes leading up to Gays Mills. Once there, there's lots to do...here's the calendar of events for Saturday:

Okay here's the details on the rendezvous for Saturday morning on the 24th:


- For anyone coming up on the Iowa side, let's plan on a preliminary rendezvous at 9:15 am at the Isle of Capri Casino parking lot along US-18/IA-76 on the south side of Marquette, IA. You can't miss the spot -- just look for this:



We'll have fun motoring up WI-133 to join the rest of the folks in Boscobel at 10:00.

Any changes in plan?

 

We'll be at the "Pink Elephant" at 9:15 AM or sooner. If no one is there, we will head for Boscobel, WI...

Looks like you guys had some nice roads...I hope you took advantage of them. Wish I could've been there.
