hit and run!

My NEW 2010 was backed into over the weekend.
Will I need to go to the mini dealership or can a good body shop handle this??

I didn't post a picture - the back bumper is pushed in.

Your insurance company should pay for you to take it wherever you want.

Personally I would go to a good body shop in the area unless there is damage to suspension or engine

Walmart??????????

Where were you, At WALMART??
I do not ever go to walmart with my Mini. The worlds worst drivers hang out just waiting the run over a nice car.

A lady backed across the lane into my Samurai and when she pulled away her plastic Buick bumper stayed hooked to my Suzuki. I was parked with out the engine even turned on. She backed streight into me. She called the Police and She got the summons. I had no damage to speak of so I just let it go. The cop was mad as a hornet with her. Like he told her. "It could have been a person with a kid in a shopping cart"

Call your insurance company and have them hash it out.

Then get some estimates from good body shops and get it fixed.

Save that for a body shop. They know what they are doing. Take the Mini into a dealer for a Check Engine Light.

What metro areas are within a reasonable driving distance for you?

We've had three of our members go thru the experience of having body repair work done this year -- all with outstanding results. As I recall, two had the work done at independent shops in the CR-IC area and one had the work done by the body shop under contract with Motorwerks MINI in Minneapolis.

That said, if you live in Hamburg, IA then none of these are probably viable choices for you...
