For those of us up here in the "New England" corner of Iowa, there is a new option now available:

Many thanks to JST2QT for the first-hand report!

We should pop over there (Madison) someday, and check it out. We could take the T of M route we took a couple years ago.

Man, I haven't even come close to thinking that far out yet...

My initial goal is to work it in around the Holy Cross parade, kinda like Mike C. did last year.

I had a great time pre-running roads this past Saturday with Smokin' Jo.

The weather was just about perfect -

...and here's just a little "taste" (actually, six of them) of one highlight -

This drive on July 24th should be great fun!

Hi Mike!

I have no personal knowledge of a source, but I just noticed this site online.

A few weeks ago i used spray-on Turtle Wax Rim Cleaner. Mistake! Even though it said safe for all rims. Now I have this cloudy film on my rims. It disappears when the surface is wet but comes back after it dries. I hoped this would just go away on its own just from regular washes and such. But to no avail its still here. Any suggestions on what could get my rims back to normal?

I would try applying any car wax or polish that you have already. Most of that stuff contains a mild solvent. It may take off the haze without any additional expense.

may sound stupid but peanut butter softened in the microwave and a tooth brush best way to remove waxy stuff...

I know the peanut butter works great on the plastic trim. I ruined my floor mats like Jo but forgot to try the peanut butter.

I went to White Pines park in northern IL over the 4th very glad I took the Jeep and not the MINI as the water over the road was higher than I would have thought safe for the MINI. (I watched one motorcycle end up in the drink)

i have a question, has anyone on here heard anything about the Saint Louis Run that me and Gary went on last year? i think it was the balducci winery/backstopers run. Britney and I were talking about it and I was thinking it was in august and if so i would like to get planing to go.

Insectiride - N. A vehicle that has just killed an extraordinary amount of bugs on its grille or windshield.
We will all be guilty of this sooner or later (like the 24th).
I love MINI word of the day. Does anyone else have this?

Miah, it's on our planning calendar! They always do this on the last Saturday in August (i.e., the 28th this year).

Hoping to attract a larger group of EIMers to represent us this year.
