Induction kit from NM Engineering installed Friday night
I installed a nice induction kit from NM Engineering on our new MCS. I think I can tell a difference in the performance, definitely can hear the PSSST from the BOV. Not too loud though. Went with the black kit to keep the engine compartment looking somewhat stock, the filter gauze is blue and stands out a bit.
Bottom line, I like it a lot.

Very nice, and I'll bet it sounds awesome. I'm not very familiar with the R56 kits...is there some sort of extension from the bonnet scoop that provides air flow and isolates it from the ambient air in the engine compartment?

No extension or anything beyond what is in the picture. The reply to that question from NM Engineering:
"In our testing, we have found that as long as the vehicle is in motion…even as slow as 5 mph, intake air temps will be equal to ambient air temp outside the engine compartment. The only time there would be a difference is when the car is NOT in motion, i.e. idling or in stop-and-go traffic."

On another note, this only vaguely qualifies as a mod but my new Piloti Protopios arrived today -- just in time for the trip out to the Black Hills for HPM. Sweet!

I am glad to know I am not the only crazy person who buys shoes specifically for driving! Mine are not so fancy but last week I bought a pair with an eye toward driving. Very similar in style to the Pilotis but not as pricey and a better color (pink & white).

Miah...any updates?
Moss just put their Angel Eyes Running Lights on sale, and I've been thinking about it ever since I saw them on bsteig's MCSC/SW at Granite City...so I took the plunge and placed an order this morning. The sickness continues...
