My SE came in about a week and a half ago but I'd been waiting to post pictures before I got some work done on it. It's a 2nd tier SE, Midnight Black 2, yellow caps, body color roof.
Last weekend I installed a set of BC coilovers and test fit my wheels from my last F56, which still fit exactly the same surprisingly
They need new tires, one of the ones I have mounted now wore in strange and would probably make quite a lot of noise on the road, and unfortunately Yokohama no longer makes this brand and apparently this tire size doesn't exist any more, so I'll be getting something more square with a higher sidewall, Probably Nitto Neo Gens in 205/45/17
The BC coils are not specced for the SE, they're just for traditional F56's. The fronts feel great but I'll need to source stiffer spring in the rear, it's way too bouncy. The kit easily has enough lowering capability, this is the first time I've ever had to raise the rear on any set I've had, and the front I'm pretty sure could lay frame if you were to lower it all the way down. I've got some vinyl coming in this week to take care of the chrome and maybe wrap the piano black portions of the interior.
Really enjoying the car so far! Very quick and with the coilovers it feels more planted than any MINI I've owned before.

Based on reports from members of InsideEVs' forums, you will probably lose some range/charge with different tires, but it appears that handling is your primary focus rather than maximum range, so that won't be a problem.
Thanks! Me too, they've been a favorite of mine for a long time for OEM+ style wheels. I had them on my last F56 and I've been itching to put them on another one.

Yeah I'm ok with that. I'm not really focused on the range. I love having an EV but what I really like is having a MINI, and the fact that this one has better weight distribution and a lower center of gravity made the choice pretty easy.
I have a set of rear KW springs for the F56 if you want to give it a try. The SE rear springs are longer than the S and while it worked, it was too slammed for me.
Eh I better pass. If they are just lowering springs, they're going to be too long when combined with the collars for the coilovers unfortunately. Thanks though!
These springs are not from the lowering springs kit. These are the rear springs from the F56 KW v2 comfort coilovers.
If you look at all of the TUV parts approvals for the different coilovers for the F56, you will see that KW and ST share the same springs front and back on the F56. For the comfort coilovers, the only difference are the rear springs. They are only slightly less stiff.
I tried these on my SE and it provided a smoother ride but it was too low for me. I run about a 1" gap between the tire and the wheel arch but you are much lower than my car. That is why I suggested it when you said you were looking for new rear springs.
We both have Midnight Black LCI Mini Cooper SE and 4 Ferrari Wheels. LOL!
This will be my third Mini after a 6-year absence. Simply a Fantastic Car.
Don't care about the range either. All my 2-Doors have simply horrible ranges.
