I also saw that the rubber gasket is 5mm thick. Is it there to just add 5mm to the springs for more rake or for comfort or both? It is only 20mm drop with the gasket so it would be 25mm without? The front is at 30mm so it would be a pretty low rake drop which I currently have with my ST coilovers.

Stock shock length?
I'm pondering new shocks on my SE. My SE is my daily, but I'll be autocrossing it in GS next year.
How, exactly, was the SE raised? As best I can tell from realoem, it is longer springs and shocks. If that is the case, I won't be able to use F56/F54 shocks without also using shorter springs, which would take me out of GS class. I was hoping to put some Koni FSDs on. They were a great daily/fun combo on my R53.

The only real choices you have right now are H&R or Eibach lowering springs with stock struts/shocks or get KW/ST coilovers.

The front is raised with the subframe so the front springs and struts work from an F56. The rear has longer springs and shocks. The shocks are from the F54 so you could try those but I don't think anyone sells aftermarket struts/shocks for the Clubman.

Non-stock springs would take me out of street stock class.
I can change shocks, though, if the perches remain standard height.
F54 rear dampers are 47mm longer than f56, so I doubt the SE uses those. The rear springs are probably F54, though. There goes the cheapskate damping upgrade option.
I suspect unique SE shocks, F56S-ish front springs, F54-ish rear springs. F56 bits will fit, though shocks likely shorter. Rear springs need to be heavier than F56.
I've asked ECS to measure some F56 Konis so I can work out where the ride height changes are.
While looking at shock options, I noticed that WMW has a SE specific KW coilover set.

Yeah they will. Look at the Subaru Outback. The wagon version simply has different front and rear subframes to change the ride height.

Yeah, I have ST coilovers which are made by KW. There is another member on here with KW and another with ST too. ECS sells these for our cars.

You might want to look more closely at the new Mini suspension arrangement before deciding that the subframe can change ride height. A classic Mini could have had a spacer put in the subframe above the doughnut. I've never had a Subaru apart, so I don't know how those are put together.
