Hello everyone,

I'm brand new to this forum, so hopefully I'm doing this correctly.

You can definitly count me in for the pully, intake etc. Just let me know when and where. If I can help with logistics in any way, drop a line.

I have a company near the airport, we do gas turbine overhaul work there. I could fit a few cars at a time in one of our receiving bays, if this might help with a location. I could make it available on Saturday and Sunday the 22nd & 23rd of November.

How many cars and how long are you estimating we would need a shop?

John

You did great! Welcome to the MCO!

Be sure to check in the "Regional Forum: South West" as I've been organizing various fun runs to vartious points in AZ.

So far I think there's around 9 people who are commited to doing this. Be sure to email or PM Brandon (MiniMac on the MCO) as he's coordinating this pulley install with Randy.

John, I just sent off a few emails to you.

First, I want to welcome you to the party!!!!

Thanks so much for offering up your shop.

However, I think that Goalie Ken offered his Dyno Shop in North Scottdale in another post.
He was talking to Randy about it. This would be great because we would all have access to a dyno when it is over.

I have sent off a PM to Goaline Ken to see what the status is. If that doesn't work out, I think we would love access to your shop.
Thanks again for the offer. Keep that date open for us if you can.

Well, I just won a BMP intake on ebay. I don't know if I'm gonna wait till November to install it or not. How hard is it to install one of these?

My bad. Agro, you are right. It is that Saturday and Sunday, the 22 & 23rd.
AS far as prepay goes, Randy has not requested it.
It has been asked before by others, and Randy has had no problems collecting money at the install.

We are going to need to give him a list of what each owner wants.
Pully
Pully and Intake
Pully and Exhaust
Pully and ECU upgrade
All of the above!!!!

As far as the intake goes Agro, I think it is an easy install.
What did you get it for on ebay?

$139.50 shipped.
From what I've read, that seems like a good price.

I think I mentioned this in the other thread, but will put it here to cover my bases.

* Alta Intake with red tube
* Alta Pulley

Looking forward to it! Randy, if you get the intake instock with the red tube prior to you coming down, let me know!

I will do some checking into hotels for people.
A couple different places to stay.
The 101 freeway runs from my part of town (Arrowhead) straight into
Scottsdale. It is about 10 to 15 minutes depending upon my speed.

Arrowead can be a little prices, but Scottsdale is very expensive. So we will need to try to find a place in the middle.

Any ideas Mike & Dominic?

How many of you are going to need a hotel?

Hey, I just got a brilliant idea.
With all of us there, we could head over to the Pavillions together.
We could get some other locals. I bet we could get 15 or more of us out there that Saturday night.

Re: Motels
I don't think I've stayed in a motel here in PHX. Sorry I have no recommendations.

Re: Pavillions
Sounds like a plan. Brandon, post something over in the regional events section about this get-together. Maybe even something on the OL would get some additional interest.

The Pavillions is the place that cool cars go to be seen!
It is a huge car show every Saturday night.
There have been countless articles about it in
all sorts of Magazines.
It gets so big, that they set up a Friday night show for younger
crowds with mini trucks and imports. But they still show up on Saturday
night as well.
It is a huge parking lot in front of a 50's Style McDonalds.
It is a cool place to hang out on a Saturday night and check out some
sweet rides!

I'm making a new post about it right now.

Hey Brandon,

I sent you an email on Fri 7/18 to sign me up. Did you not get it? I ask this as you have accepted Russell's invitation to put you at 10 people.

I'll forward you the message.

I think the Pavilions after would be cool.

Hafid, actually, due to special timing issues, we have you scheduled for Thursday, Nov 27th. You'll be the only one that day, so it should go quick

No worried mate! He has you down. I got an email from him telling me about all the new people he's added so far. He just probably forgot to send you off a confirmation on it.

We needed 10 at the minimum. Well, with the last couple of you (Hafid) we are at 10. So this thing is official.
We are still letting people add their name o the list. If we get enough people, we will just make it a 3 day event, add Friday or Monday or something.

So if you are interested still, let me know. You can still get in on this deal!

Perfect, thanks for getting me in. Sorry for the confusion. I was just under the impression that it was going to be 10 only.

I should cook something for the event!
