Randy,

What are your thoughts on doing the airbox mod at the same time? Is that possible for me to bring my drill and drill a few holes in the back of the box where my rogue intake sits while you're working on the other stuff?

Just curious. If not, no worries.

>>Randy, can you run down what the ECU options might be at the party?

Randy, any chance of the lower priced Shark being available through you by the November party? How safe is the current Powerchip ECU with 91 octane oxygenated fuel?
Is adaptive ECU learning nonsense? So many questions place me on the ECU fence.
I'm sorely tempted to splurge on Powerchip, but also have reservations.
Please respond master tuner man!

Hi Randy,

I'm afraid I have some bad news. Due to budget restraints I won't be able to afford the Alta Intake & Tube. I just have barely enought $$ to do the Alta pulley.

Call me if you have questions. You've got my phone numbers for work and home.

Thanks,
Dominic

I should have the Shark here by Monday - then I will be testing it, and if it works, it will be available. I was actually supposed to get it on Friday.

hafid - no problem. I haven't been at a party yet that someone isn't doing box mods for folks.

dominicminicoopers - Just happy to have you there, don't worry about it. I'll give you a call. I've worked out payment plans for folks in the past as well.

The Powerchip was developed in California with the crappiest gas on the planet! It works great under those conditions.

HOTEL INFORMATION:

I have some hotel information for owners needing a place to stay.
Hampton Inn and La Quinta.
Not sure on the rates, but here are the links.
The LaQuinta map shows 2 locations.
#5 is very close to the Pully Install location.
#1 is my neck of the woods. 10 Minute freeway drive straight there.
And the price is most likely cheaper.
La Qunita hotels

Here is another link for Hampton Inn

Brandon, thanks for the hotel info attempt. Unfortunately, when I clicked on the link, I got a map of Kansas City. What criteria did you put in your search?
We on for the flag and install?

Randy, can you please bring me a BMP intake cleaning kit with you (I just want to save the shipping cost on a $15 item).

Can't wait!
I think Randy was going to post the schedule on the webb motorsports forum, but it's not there yet. We should come up with some type of after-party party for Mr. Webb right?! Any ideas? After party meal and pavillions visit on Saturday maybe?

Mike, excellent idea. The pavillions would be a nice way to wind down after a long day of work and it's not very far from the dyno shop.

That is a great idea. I think I will be driving Randy around if he doesn't drive down.
So a Pavillions night would be perfect!

O, Mike, Randy is trying to get ahold of you for schedule.
He is posting the times on his website.

Your JCW already has a 15% pulley reduction on it. This is the same 15% thaty Randy does installs for. There's a couple of threads running around about more reduction of the pulley. .Click here for Randy's thoughts on more than 15% reductions.

IIRC, the JCW doesn't have an CAI system. You can always get your intake modded at the party.

I'm totally new to this... what's this "pulley" to which you guys are referring? When and where is this party? I live in Phoenix and an totally considering the mini for my next car, yet I'm a warranty scaredecat so I'll probably go with the works package.

Ken, I may well be interested in the dyno. Just have to convince the wife.
"But honey, I have to make sure we got value for the $400 I just spent on a pulley. And I need to see if the roof flag adds any power!"
I doubt she'd buy the last bit, but maybe on the 1st bit.

FYI There will be a meet at the scottsdale pavilions Sat night. Pavilions are off the 101 free and Indian Bend, you want to go west on indian bend, you will see a McDonalds, and lots of old cars.

There are 2 lots, 1 for old classics/etc... then across from them, (just north) they have general parking for customs/etc... the far east is for motorcycles...

you will see it when you get there. and if you are first, please try to save spaces for the other mini owners.
