Drivetrain (Cooper S) MINI Cooper S (R53) intakes, exhausts, pulleys, headers, throttle bodies, and any other modifications to the Cooper S drivetrain.

Drivetrain I have a pro mini intake would i feel a difference with a CAI?

I have a pro mini intake would i feel a difference with a CAI?

There was a promini intake on my car when i purchased it and i was wondering if i would feel a difference with a DDM/M7 intake?

'ell yes! Go for it. I'd say +50HP on the popo dyno, but not much on the one that Don uses. But the comfort factor, knowing you have one of the best cold air intakes on your car will be big enough to offset any feelings of insecurity you get from those who don't know any better.

You won't feel a difference. You will hear one though. Whether that's a good thing or bad thing depends on personal preference.

At part throttle, a more obvious sound of air being sucked in. Same basic sound of the Promini, but more pronounced. At large throttle openings, especially WOT in the upper half of the rpm range, the whine from the supercharger is MUCH louder due to the plastic firewall partition being opened up.
