What is special about it?
I am somewhat conservitive with fluids, I want to know they have some improved quality before I leave something that works well.
For the MINI trans, MTL works very well. I put it in at 25,000 and it shifts like a dream.

a friend of mine at a high-end repair shop only uses this. it's supposed to be the best for porsches (old & new) and ferraris. it's not synthetic, but is the best of the refined stuff, with some additives. i was hoping someone had it in their mini.

Swepco

It is sold by the local Ferrari Dealer for use in Ferrari transaxles, for instance for Testarossas. A friend who run a very well regarded Porsche shop uses it. It is very sticky! I am not sure that it would be a good idea for a very modern transmission, which may be designed for fluid with different properties. PB

Yeah, always used this on the 911's transmission. It's very thick & gooey... running synthetic in the 915 transmission made me crunch in every gear, whereas the 201 made the shifting smoother, but not faster. Not sure what it would do on a modern transmission as sunracer said.
