Eeek. Did I get the wrong plugs?

I bought IK22's off ebay that were listed for a cooper S. I am now worried they are not the right kind.

Can anybody help me if I tell you the box says IK22#4 (5310#4) Ultra Fine 0.4mm Iridium.

I don't know if the plugs are very car specific or by the fact that they are IK22's does that mean they are fine?

THANKS MUCHLY!

That is the same plug I use. I started using them when I installed a 15% supercharger pulley. The Vendor that sold the pulley recommended, but did not sell these plugs to me. You have a 16% pulley so you are good to go - especially because you live in a warm place, too. In case you didn't know yet, the plugs you bought are a little cooler than the stock plug.

Be sure to torque the new plugs correctly! I think it is 25 ft lb.

ok great, I knew I wanted the cooler plugs. I just suddenly panicked that you needed to get specially gapped ones or a certain barcoded one for your car - you know how it is with ebay, they could be for a Kia Sanfrantanasomething and I would have no clue!! Cheers for the help lads.

And then check them routinely or you may have one in your bonnet and a stripped out hole in your MINI's head.

Im so confused again. I decided I should read up on gapping before I put them in. When I did my research it looks like people are gapping them at 0.04 to 0.045. I can't even fit the 0.03 (0.028/0.029 is ok) gap plate between any of mine straight out of the box. Any ideas? They had the protective caps and there was no sign of damage. I really want to put them in but would hate to be doing something wrong. 16% and now CAI is what I have power wise.

THANKS AGAIN!!!
