Drivetrain Performance Mods vs. MPG
Performance Mods vs. MPG
Any one ever keep track of their stock MPG and then after making intake/exhaust, 15% pulley changes track their MPG? I know, I know, Mini's are such fun to drive who cares about MPG. But for the few annal folks out there, before and after MPG figures??
I am better more miles from my performance mods~~ I don't need to step on it as much now that I have more torque/power from my mods~
I think one of the mod that will decrease ur MPG for sure is the bypass valve. Everything else is pretty good on your MPG

+ a lot when i use my dsc ( it irritates the hell out of me to accelerate for a second and then the engines stumbles before i can go again). Actually i just started paying attention to my mpg and i was averaging about 11.? mpg's a week n' a half ago but now that i;m paying attention to it and i'm driving like a granny ( w/ dsc) i'm up to 20.4 mpg as of today
but when I step on it... other cars slow down as I suck the gas from thier tanks as well as mine... and it stops being MPG and becomes GPM
now with the front mount and significantly cooler air I am curious to see if it will help or hinder... heh he....
Mini is one of the highest rated for gas milage on cars.com
I agree with this, not much of a drop but my Mini can really suck up the gas on the track now. Probably getting 8-10 mph . Mini Madness intake, 15% pulley, conforti shark and borla exhaust.
Cheers
