Performance Mods vs. MPG

Any one ever keep track of their stock MPG and then after making intake/exhaust, 15% pulley changes track their MPG? I know, I know, Mini's are such fun to drive who cares about MPG. But for the few annal folks out there, before and after MPG figures??

The mileage didn't change for me at cruising. But it did go down when ever I get my foot into it of course.

Average 3 miles / gallon worse than stock with 15%, CAI, plugs and exhaust. But slightly better after JCW flash upgrade.

+1 after One-Ball
+1.5 MPG after CAI, 15%, One-Ball*

*as previously stated, if I keep my foot out of it (but what fun is that?)

- 1 mpg after my 15% pulley install. Nice trade off if you'd ask me.

I'm getting about 1.5 MPG better after the 17% install. This only applies if i can keep my foot out of it.

I am better more miles from my performance mods~~ I don't need to step on it as much now that I have more torque/power from my mods~

I think one of the mod that will decrease ur MPG for sure is the bypass valve. Everything else is pretty good on your MPG

+2 mpg on highway with 15%, CAI, plugs, VGS.

-5 mpg in city thanks to the necessity to press harder on the gas.

+ a lot when i use my dsc ( it irritates the hell out of me to accelerate for a second and then the engines stumbles before i can go again). Actually i just started paying attention to my mpg and i was averaging about 11.? mpg's a week n' a half ago but now that i;m paying attention to it and i'm driving like a granny ( w/ dsc) i'm up to 20.4 mpg as of today

same for me.... even with all my modification... going to AMVIV last year I was getting 25 to 30 MPG depending on the landscape... flat or hilly....

but when I step on it... other cars slow down as I suck the gas from thier tanks as well as mine... and it stops being MPG and becomes GPM

now with the front mount and significantly cooler air I am curious to see if it will help or hinder... heh he....

I agree with this, not much of a drop but my Mini can really suck up the gas on the track now. Probably getting 8-10 mph . Mini Madness intake, 15% pulley, conforti shark and borla exhaust.

Cheers
