EXHAUST BURBLE...help

Hello all. I was hoping to get some real world feedback from owners of 2 specific exhaust that I am looking to get. As I havent found what I am looking for hopefully you guys can help me.

Ive narrowed my choices to the Invidia catback and the M7 powertone exhuasts.Which has more burble? and which has a less ricey sound?

I know that M7 doesnt sell the exhaust anymore but I know that it was by powertone. So if I buy the exhaust from powertone, is it the same thing just not the m7 name attached to it? or did m7 have a special version of the powertone exhuast?

Im coming from a Acura RSX-S with a tanabe full race exhuast, and I dont want it to sound like all those POS honda ricers out there . You know the type, the ones that put a muffler on and think they are fast.

I guess I am looking for a quality sound if you know what I mean. Thanks for looking.

i dun think the invidia has a ricey sound to it, it defintely sound deeper and actually has some power feeling to it. it burbles on every gear whenever i let the pedal goes.. i love that feeling! im glad i got the invidia, to me, defintely a thumbs up! im sure the m7 is also very nice, it has a deeper tone to it, i don't know anything else tho

Not to change the subject, but have you considered the mod to the stock system!

Loss 20 lbs, costs less than $100, and sounds great (subjective) with plenty of the burble.

Spend the savings on other performance mods.

I agree. The one-ball mod has lots of burble and produces less backpressure.
You may want to try that first before you shell out lots of cash for a more expensive system.

Well, I have the one-ball with an OBX header and the stock cat welded on, and i'd say that it definatly has a ricey sound to it. When you get on it before the car has warmed up for 5-10 minutes you get a tinny rattle like sound every time you rev past about 2800 rpms under, and the pops are boarderline ridiculous. It sounds like a popcorn machine every time you let off the exhaust. I could deal with it if it's just a burble or a quiet pop, but it literally BACKFIRES about 20 times when you let off the throttle. It's too much for me. There isn't a time when I go down a street that people don't stare at me and give me weird looks.

I'm actually going to pick up an Invidia exhaust today and i'm going to try to get it installed too :-).
