why i didn't go to work today

my new turner motorsports cf shift **** arrived and i thought that while i had it off, why not install the coolest shift skirt there is. i checked my friendly hyundai dealer for a tiburon rubber skirt, but he didn't have any. then i asked about an aftermarket one he had hanging on the wall and sure enough it was for a tiburon. i honored his "license to steal" and paid him his "marked down" price for it and headed back home. i have to thank sid and octane guy for the how-to on this. (you could have warned me about the sore thumbs) i've always admired this look and i think it's a good birthday present to myself. (that's really why i didn't go to work) if anyone is looking for something a little different in a shift ****, this one from turner is the most beautiful i've seen, and it's the same size & weight of the original, just not heat sensitive. i guess i'll go back to work tomorrow.

Not much difference between the real Tiburon (mine) and yours, eh?

You look like your dog? I hear that happens. Not sure if I look like the chocolate lab or the golden retriever. Guess it doesn't matter, they are both adorable! I am fairly new to the climbing world. Started this year with a little more effort. Outside climbing around lone pine, ca (alabama hills, near mt whitney) Bouldered in the buttermilks around biship. I hear redrocks is awesome. Thats near vegas, right? I can only climb 5-9's right now. Before I hurt my shoulder in June, I was trying a few 5-10a's. Now I am sure I will be back at 5-8 level. Hey, I used to have an aunt named Malley. I am sure she worked with cattle too!

yes, redrocks is just a 20 minute drive from the strip. there's over 100 climbs (both trad & sport) under 5.9 there, plus it's a beautiful place. i've climbed the gorge near you before, hated the approach. next year, come early for AMVIV and spend a day or two climbing here. here's my happy pup.
