who has this header installed ?

this is what the seller told me after i asked him what kind of header this was,

"The header is made by a new company called edge racing ( stainless steel )"

it is No welding just a BOLT ON

but after looking for the company on the internet it seems edge racing is a tire and wheel company http://www.edgeracing.com/

what is the catch here ?

would this header fit my supersprint cat-back system ?

cheers

I have this header. It is Chinese in origin, and sold as a Megan Racing header and with a different head flange as a Pilo Racing header.
You will find many threads and posts when searching these two names.
(Edge Racing has had great prices on Falken RT615 tires, but otherwise I know nothing about them)
cheers,

I have this header and I had to open up the ports so that they match. I would also check to see if the big flange is straight. The bolt holes were all a bit to the left of the ports. Oh, and the silencer piece blew apart after two days so I wouldn't put that piece in there. I would put the big cat in place of it to keep down the obnoxious sound and keep the engine fault codes off. My light came on after about 3 hours of driving due to no cat. You will know what I mean. I installed the middle piece just to get me to the exhaust shop to quiet down my exhaut. it was offensive!....Other than that, it was really well built!

That somone (sic) would be Chinese... They bend pipe and weld pretty good. Unfortunately other aspects not so good!
As said, I have this header installed, and I did grind out the ports, but that was my choice to get better matching and flow. No problems with the flange holes or flatness, no problems with the resonator/test pipe. Some problems with a leaky flex joint, which has "bedded in" after I read it a bed time story.

cheers,

the silencer blew apart ! what do u mean exactly did it start leaking ?

What do u mean by putting the big cat in there , the original cat cut off of original header and weld too this one ? in this case it would be better to buy an obx header. Or did u buy another cat somewhere and bolted it on to this header and catback.

and do u have any soundclips of your setup. Is it really that loud !!!

thx , maybe there are others with this setup with the same problems, please come forward and express yourself on behalf of this community ....

cheers
