MSFITOY - On the other car pics, I see they eliminated the windshield pissers. What were your thoughts about this (considering you don't have wipers ). My first reaction was to eliminate and perhaps just add one pisser back in the center. I assume that the farther back you can mount the better?

Now that I have them and played with them a bit last night, I can appreciate you cutting them down and rounding them. DAM, I really don't want to give up my 1/9th advanatage.

I figure you might have some knowledge in aircraft construction with your background

I'm debating which route to go:

1-countersunk rivnuts and countersunk screws...cool and easily removeble but why go through all the trouble...
2-countersunk blind rivets...cool but not as easy to remove...
3-standard blind rivets...quick and still cool...can always do 1 or 2 later...

Probably 3 for as I want to get them on NOW...

Eh...too much hassle...besides, the wipers are only off temporarily until the next Dragon

Your 1/9 advantage is going to be sitting on top of the DFIC where it won't do much anyway

get them in antway you like... the drag coefficient is negligable...just playin.... I kind of prefer the rough "garage band" approach myself

Bart-Being in So Fla, is your garage about 1,000 F during the day like mine has been? If I just step foot into it, I start sweating. I need that fan of yours!

I like the frenched bonnet scooop. The vents are a little overboard, but I still like the scoop. Very smooth.

the bondoed or hood scoop moulded into the bonnet looks pretty sweet though.

The heat can be killer here for things like working in the garage on your car. I wouldn't even consider working on the car if I did not have one of these.

The only thing worse than my 1,000 temp Florida garage is my 2,000 temp engine comparment of my boat. The boat sits in the sun all day and there is just no air in the engine room. I drag that fan down to the dock.

Could be worse...until I installed the heater in the garage, we would keep frozen food stacked in the garage during winter times

Here we go...final positioning

The pieces have been symetrically shaped, sanded and primered...

Next, I'll trace the outline of one side and transfer it to the other using an acetate template flopped over the center line...
