It is unfortunate that the charitable contributions of other NAM members are indirectly causing problems for other NAM members who simply want the service that they deserve (and paid for).

They are like weeds, aren't they? Merge one and then another pops up.

since my MCS is bone stock, all my other monies go into my other love affair, electronic music (yes I can fit a 61-key ATA flight case in my MINI--barely.) I don't buy my gear from Guitar Center or other big internet boxes (most of the time.) I buy from small independent manufacturers of "boutique" items (Future-Retro in KS, Dave Smith in CA, Analogue Solutions in England), and I tell ya if any of these manufacturers "pulled a Webb" and neglected their customers they'd be blacklisted amongst my synth colleagues and peers so quick they wouldnt know what Yamaha CS-80 hit 'em. (the CS-80 weighs about 200 lbs.)

With this kind of suicide they wouldn't need Korg or Yamaha or Roland to put 'em out of business.

Sadly, looks to me this is happening with RWMS. I sense my MINI peers are fed up.... JB

Brian/Randy - Same request from me. I just got my credit card bill and the total is not what I expected. However, I am unable to verify my order since you never sent me a receipt, despite several e-mail requests. Please contact me. You have my e-mail and phone number.

Maybe I should reconsider and let them install my Turbo in Nov. they might have time to do a killer good job since I'll be the only customer they'll have left.
That's if they're back from vacation of course.

I'm sure it will all work out in the long run, things will eventually get back to normal, this thread might be an eye opener for Randy and if he doesn't get to upset about it, he might turn things around, he sure is getting a lot of publicity out of this, it might not be good publicity but I bet it wouldn't take long to get the confidence back on track, at least with those like me who haven't lost anything yet, only time will tell.
As for those who have paid for something they haven't received, that might take a little longer...

I would imagine that he (Randy) would rather have some other kind of publicity than this thread. This strikes me as the publicity from hell....

This is from the WMS vendor anouncement in April, 2006. Hopefully it will come true soon.

Webb Motorsports BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
We at Webb Motorsports have been reevaluating our strategies to make sure our business continues to provide the best products and services for our customers. To do that, we have prioritized the following core strategies:

Best customer service
More inventory
Best possible MINI parts
Community support
Motorsports support

We have come to realize through direct experience that a few things have to change to accomplish the most important goals for our business to grow and for our customers to be happy.

Some have mentioned the benefit of a racing philosophy to the business model, and I suppose that is a great philosophy to racing manufacturers like Porsche or Mercedes becuase they have a constant flow of potential racing R&D. WMS has none of that, they had to borrow money to do what they are now doing! So to think they are out developing new products based upon their racing is rather rediculous - may be testing the efect of wearing down to nothing the few developments that were theirs prior to getting out on the circuit but I would guess very few developments have come from their racing on their current budget.

I'm still praying for them!

IMHO I dont think its a good idea for them to be in the Vendor directory with all the problems people are having with communication, it makes it look as if NAM endorses them. As I said this is my opinion and I have been around here for a pretty good while and I know of these issues but for a newby to swing by and look in the directory to buy parts and then they cant get in touch with WMS after the fact is not good!

Wow is the first word that comes to mind after reading all of this. It's sad that there are this many upset at Webb. I personally think it's gotten out of hand and hope this work out for everyone. Webb will still have my business.

How many customers affected?

I wonder how many people are actually having a problem with them, I see a lot of posts, some of them are looking for a receipt while others are trying to order parts, but the few that are in the worst shape are those who have paid for parts and can't get them and I wonder how many are in the worst case scenario?
In the past when I contacted them they had reply to my inquiries and have never bought anything from them yet, I was planning on it in the near future but not yet.
This thread is making them look really bad but I would still be curious to see a number of how many people are actually affected by all of this, not that it would make a big difference but based on this topic it almost look as if it was a huge amount of people when in fact it might be a minority and I can understand their frustration, I would be pissed too if I was in their shoes.
So far I recall 2 or 3 looking for a receipt and maybe 5 or 6 waiting for parts, then you have me who was thinking about having them install a turbo but it's not until Nov. so I'm in no way affected by any of this. Then there are a few who were trying to contact them for various parts they can buy elsewhere, and there are a lot of us waiting on that new exhaust system that seems like it will never arrived, so how many of you have lost money? it might show how bad this really is? if you want to share what you've bought, when, paid for yet or not and what is the status?
