Superchargers' boost is determined by the pully ratio, since they're directly driven from the crank, regulated by engine speed. Therefore, there is no need for a blowoff valve.
Blowoff's are used often in Turbocharged setups due to too much spool up of the turbo, creating more than desired boost. The blowoff is designed to limit the boost going to the intake.
Trying to impliment at blowoff valve on a supercharger is about the most redundant thing you can think of!

Cheers,
Ryan

Yup a blow off valve on a supercharged engine is no good.

Usually a blow off valve is used to relive excess boost when the throttle is closed.

The turbo has a lot of momentum spooled up when at WOT and if the throttle blade is closed suddenly that boost has no where to go so a blow off valve is used to let the boost out.

I saw in another thread some type of speaker that mimics a blowoff valve. Not a bad idea, but not exactly a good one either.

The combination of "blow-off valve" sounds with a supercharged engine bothers me. Too immature IMO (for fear of saying "rice&quot

Superchargers have the same issue and usually have a bypass valve to allow the pressurizes air to recirculate back thru the intake system when the throttle is closed.

Yes the valve is located some where internaly on the SC but a SC does not get the momentum spooled up that a turbo does. The turbo will free wheel for a long time even after the throttle is closed.

Blow off valves sound so awesome! Theres a supra and wrx at my school with blow off valves and it sounds so cool when they go by. But theres no sound as cool as the rumble from a classic muscle car...its like music.
