After reading this I was gertting a little concerned...My self install is so far dead quiet. I hope I got one of the redisigned resonators and I believe theMilltech has a lifetime warrantee?

I did have something I did not mention though since it seemed so small...Could not find one of the bolts and nuts that join the mufflers to the pipe...When I picked up the Muffler I found them...INSIDE THE MUFFLER pipe (apparently came loose in shipping..bolt was inside the pipe and the nut was in the packing.......bet that would have caused a ruckus! I HATE RICE NOISE TOO! really am liking the Milltech so far!

Yesterday afternoon I installed the missing gasket on the rear flange. Wow, I didn't realize how much effect the leak had on the overall sound of the system. Remember I LOVED the Milltek even when it had the leak? Now I REALLY LOVE IT.

Since the system is used, it had already been broken in, so the exhaust already has some personality on it.

Up to now, the slightly loose interiors of the resonator have not caused a problem and I really don't hear anything loose in there under normal operation. But I will definitely take precautionary measures and call Stratmosphere, since the previous posts clearly suggest that the problem is bound to get worse over time and use.

I wonder what serial # marked the "new" resonator assembly or if there is a wey to tell...unless you have to wait for a rattle to start!??
