Since you are thinking a pulley I would suggest... a different forum... Seriously, this is a Mini (non-S) performance forum and we don't need no stinking pulleys.

Exhaust and pulley seems like a good combo. Unless you track or drive in the canyons alot, then I'd recommend a set of coilovers

I say if its an MC not MCS, go a head and do the suspension make the car that much more nimble (rear sway bar perhaps). If its an MCS move your post but do a pulley then suspension and exhaust. And ECU might help you get better use of the power the car already has. Could also do a Big Brake Kit. But I have an unatural aspiration so I'll get out of her before they flame me.

Go to AMVIV and put the 1200 on 37, black and see what happens.

For less than that $, i'm doing a pully, cai, rear sway bar, short shift kit.
I'm skipping the exhaust... don't want to risk any droning.
Next will be injectors and GAIC.

Save the larger IC for last. The stock one works well until your posting a lot of boost.

Save the money, buy a house, invest in stock, don't throw it away on a depreciating asset

It's more fun to do it step by step, so you enjoy the mods individually for a while. First mod I'd do is rear sway bar. Second is pulley (15%). That's about $600 and that gets you the biggest bang for the buck. if you have heavy s-lites, get light rims and then performance tires (non-runflat). You'll have practically a mod-free car and no downside but lots more performance and fun.

Malcon,

15% pulley, MTH software and Borla street exhaust (quiet) or Borla Race/Sport exhaust (nice growl). That would be plenty.

Later on, lighter rims and non runflat tires. Use up the runflats first.

No need to go with larger intercooler if doing only street driving.

haha, yeh....only time will tell :D

but as for the Borla Exhaust, i've driven directly behind an MCS with the Borla Sport, and i loved it....bloody loud, and every backfire was like more like BOOM BOOM vs my oneball's pop pop
