You can get it from the Alta website...for $280. Just go to the Intake section and scroll down towards the bottom of the page.

Unclear post!

I guess I was not clear with my statement. ALTA is testing a new silicone hose for the MCS automatic. The hose that is used now was only for a manual transmission.

I am waiting for ALTA to get done testing. Once the testing is done they are supposed to get it out to market.

I have the ALTA intake, but not the silicone hose.

thanks, anyway

It already is on the market. The previous poster linked to it:

Go to the bottom, and you can buy the silcone hose for Automatic. The one that says "AUTOMATIC ONLY" is it.

I don't think they're shipping yet. If the parts are finally available and I haven't been notified then I must say I'll be a tad steamed. I pre-ordered one when it was announced last year and have been waiting on it for months. Each time I inquire about it I'm told it's just a couple of weeks away from shipping....grrr.

ALTA reply

I spoke with someone at ALTA, he had to ask his people when the hose for the automatic MCS will be ready for shipment. They are testing a new hose that is in manufacturing for the MCS automatic. They have run into some issues and do NOT have the silicone hose out for the public to purchase.

For those of us who purchased the complete ALTA ACI kit and received a hose you will find if you have an automatic the hose will not work. I sent my hose back to Webb motorsports and am waiting for ALTA to ship the new hose once they correct the issue. ALTA is supposed to email the customers who purchased the incorrect hose when the replacement is ready. it will cost a little more than the manual silicon hose, I think it will be longer in length. but hey i am just a mini owner with the tweek BUG...

So, anyone thinking they can order the hose for the automatic MCS at the ALTA web site you are missleading yourself. You can get the hose for the manual MCS but not the automatic MCS.

anywho... that is what i last understood...but it can change...

This is kind of a sore subject. Basically we planned on January, that didn't happen obviously. With SEMA and the extra business it brought us we have really backed up other existing silicone stuff. For this we are very sorry. But i have sitting on my desk a final part. Once we make sure it fits its off to production. AT this point early orders will get parts in roughly 2 weeks, as long as we can get an Auto to fit it to early next week.
