Dinan Exhaust

Today my dad tells me that at his work (patrick BMW) he got a free dinan exhasut for my car, is it a good idea to put that one in or get a different exhaust for the MCS?

I don't think anyone one has it here. But you can do search on ALTA Exhaust system they are similar. And they have the same tip problem.

But, get it. Don't like it, sell it for couple bucks and get what you like.

What part of FREE is bad?

Not that I have 'dynos' to back it up, but it probably gives about as much extra as any other catback. Put it in and GO!

get it and put it on, then get a Dinan CAI and pulley and ECU programming. You will have a killer car.

The exhaust tube aft of the muffler has a radius in it. Because of the curvature of the final exhaust tube just before it splits into the Y or dual tip configuration, the majority of the exhaust is actually exiting through the driver's side tip. As a result, the DS tip is usually black and the PS tip stays relatively clean. It's an appearance thing only. But it does sound good!
