I had a good day, drivebelt making a noise mind. Apart from that my Hartge Conversion went very well. Did a stint of 6-7 laps then came into the pits for a cool down. Brakes were pretty poor as suspected..

Averaged just over 10mpg

Red lined it lap after lap btw.

Awesome video. What was that car that passed you about 45 seconds into it?

Excellent Video.

Nice to see you passing some cars. That was great. Looks like about as much fun as any one person could have.

Congrats.

Just one thing the video needs more of the MINI music tires, exhaust, charger, etc. Other than that its great nice job.

Great Vid! I enjoyed the shots from trackside. Looks like lotsa fun!!!!!

I am old 44, so what does Massive attacks compare too, Depeche Mode, or are they heavier?

I enjoyed the music, but I am out of touch on what is and isn't cool in music.

Massive Attack is classified as "trip hop" by most. They’re actually one of the fore-runners of the genre. A kind of cool site if your interested: http://www.triphop-music.com/

This isn’t really mainstream in the States.

They're similar to DM in a few ways, e.g dark and British.... but have much more of a hip hop influence rather then pop with DM... I’m way over-simplifying here!

The music really was a good choice for the video.. It makes me want to get a camera and learn some video editing.

Nice clip. Image was pretty stable on the track . I've seen a lot of crap video of ppls track day events. Do you mind telling us the camera you used? Also where/how did you mount the cam?

I use a Sony PC110 Digital Camcorder mounted on a Hague Windscreen Suction Mount..

www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting%20Brackets.htm

I was using stock suspension and runflats on 17" wheels loads of scope for improving the car, the first being brakes and sway bar
