Nick,

I will be dynoing the MINI-Motorsport kit next week. I fully expect to exceed Hartge's hp numbers. More to come.

Hey randy,

What is your official "Kit" going to include? Intake/Exhaust/ECU/Pulley?? If so are you planning on running Dyno tests with the different intake/exhaust combos, or a specific one that you will be offering in the kit?

It is all ready, except that I haven't dyno'ed it yet, and I want to do a few track sessions - which I had planned to do this week, but the weather hasn't cooperated.

This is the kit, available as a package, or a la carte. You can pick and choose components as you would like. I am currently checking out different facilities around the country to do the install - that part is still to be worked out.

Pulley
ECU Upgrade
Intake
Exhaust

Also available as part of the kit:

Throttle body
Header
Flowed head

More to come...

Sounds like a fairly relaible and effective kit Randy. Do you have any price estimates so far?

Yeah, the kit would be great if it beat Hartge numbers...but can it beat the Hartge price?

I think so. We're still working out the final pricing, but I do know what the Hartge kit costs, and plan to use that as a goal to stay under.

Oh my goodness Randy! I was salivating when I learned you carried the exhaust, intake, and sway bar I wanted. Then bam! All of a sudden you come out with a throttle body, headers, and pulley upgrade. You know it's bad enough waiting for the car, but now I will die 10 times over in wait of the car and the money to get the mods. I'm always thinking about the warranty but screw it.

My deal with my parents to get my MCS is put up a down payment and pay maintenance. I figure that the new spec MINIs wont have the problems of the old and that all I will have to do is change the oil, which I would do anyways, so I shouldnt have to worry about the warranty anyways. It kinda sucks though, working at Burger King and going the Florida State University (freedom!) in the fall. But oh well, I will be doing the grave yard shift at a local gas station also a couple of nights a week this summer.

You my friend are truly appreciated!

Noles and Rutgers are both the CANES BIATCHES!!!!....lol

Randy, upon this info that you are a Nole, I may be changing my mind about ordering from you ...the Noles are tied for #2 on my most hated CFB teams, right behind Notre Dame, and tied with UF. But the Canes own them all so it doesn't matter much....lol

Hartge have a been BMW tuners for years and the TUV type approval and 1 years warranty that they have for their conversion will be hard to beat. The Hartge conversion does not need an exhaust and induction kit in order to get 210hp. Will be intrested to see what you get on the Dyno Randy with what your proposing.

My car gets the Hartge conversion this coming Monday from www.birds.uk.com and hopefully with help from AmD / Milltek they can provide me with a manilfold and exhaust for about 220hp more than enough IMO..

The conversion we are putting together will be available with only the components you want, and with just the pulley and software, we are looking at 207hp and 198lb/ft. That will be independently verified here. The package with the intake and exhaust should produce 220-230hp.

The warranty doesn't seem to apply to us folks here in the States - I guess they think we drive like a bunch a rednecks er somethin'

Hartge hasn't made the package available here officially, so if that happens, maybe the warranty will follow - we'll see.

I'll be dynoing a header, throttle body, pulley, intake and exhaust package this weekend. If I can get the software to work out, I'll have that on the package as well.

Hope that helps - I'll keep you all advised!

Randy
