looks like the Pilo header. that removable section is a resonated pipe. Pilo has been working on it with Megan racing for about 8 months or so now. personally i've been waiting for Pilo to release it with the CAT section i like to be all nice and legal

Excellent!

I just bought the OBX header and I like several features on this one more so than the OBX - in particular the "flex" component and the 4-1 design which should be more torque focused than a 4-2-1.

This definitely looks like a nice option. Especially if it came with the cat option.

Most of the aftermarket exhausts are 2.5" right? Wouldn't we want the header outlet to be 2.5" as well?

No the 4-2-1 design will produce more torque, 4-1 more hp

Nice price but how does the "stock" cat mount to that? I thought the OEM cat is part of the OEM header

This kit includes a cat delete with the header, not sure where the hardware is for the cat.

I actually did the design of this header. Though it is available in other places, I will be the only one offering the CAT for this header.

Dan,

Send me the unit for testing .....

How is the fit and sound?
Any idea on price for the header plus CAT ?
Is the CAT a high flow durable CAT ?
Any issues with the dreaded CODES ?

Phil

thats great! if you would please, make sure you supply the option of 400cell cat or something like that. i think you would sell more to the masses if you supply a MORE durable cat than say the others. melted 200 cell cats are not the way...

Based on the fact that the header is available with everthing less the cat for about $200 it would seem that that will be the going price. I was able to remove my stock cat and use that with a " race " header with no issues .

i would think that it should be a '4oo 0r less cell CAT' that would be the only way to go to keep up w/competition. NO?
