Software, who is the best

Hey guys, I have been researching sotware and cant find what I am looking for. I am wondering who produces the best software upgrade for the MCS and why you think so. I am looking for the company that raises the rev limit the most and has the highest effect on Torque and gas. Let me know what you guys are using as well as what you would recomend and why. Thanks

Pure best performance - it has to be a dyno tuned package, and those are $1000+. You can get pretty close (within a few hP) for less than 1/3 that with others.

What exactly do you need to do with it? Just street? What other mods do you have?

It is going to be a track/street car. I race BMW's right now so I know what you are tlaking about regarding dyno runs, but I wanted to know what the best software you could buy off the shelf was. Thanks

That's why I asked - because 'best' and 'best off the shelf' are two different things.

GIAC

www.giacusa.com

Have used them in 6 of my vehicles including my current MINI, and soon to be in my wife's MINI.

I have GIAC in our Beetle - very good. I use MTH in the Mini - also very good. I prefer the MTH over others for the added benefit of traction control remapping.

I beleive that is the case. Does GIAC/UNIChip redo the rev limiter, or the fans?
