I will be perfectly honest with you.. I felt like my car was starving at high RPMs without the program.. I forced the injectors and program out after about 6 weeks of driving without because I felt like I was hurting the car.

I could actually feel it holding back up top. IMHO this says something is not as it should be.. Once I got the injectors and GIAC it got rid of that feeling 100%

Next is UUC Exhaust.. $$$ but worth it.

Nevermind that comment of mine! I got onasled mixed up with one of the chicks in the off-topic forums. Forgive me!

My feelings exactly. Best exhaust on the market, IMO, and probably the most rare. I've yet to meet (in person) another MINI owner with it. That adds to the "specialness".

I only put in my two bits about AC because ggro talked about his performance with the AC on. The funk from AC mildew is distinct from the coolant funk which was an endemic problem with the early coolant tanks (I replaced mine).

Wish I could say the same.. I OPENED MY BIG MOUTH RAVING ABOUT THIS EXHAUST.. Now someone in PhillyMINI .. Bill Penglase got the exhaust before me and loves rubbing and revving it in my face..

All in good fun... and he has to catch me to be able to do it. And that is no easy task!
Next time I am keeping my mouth shut about what mods I am GOING to get until I get them..

Here’s another one to jump on the band wagon. This is a great combination for the street. Recent data logging has revealed almost no knock detection since adding the 380s plus the Helix GIAC.

I was able to induce some timing pull back with the 19%, stock program and stock injectors on very hot afternoons. Mind you, I can see the same thing on a completely stock 05 MINI as well.

I can report improved drivability is replicable.
