Looks exactly like the WMS front mount, almost like they stole the design from Randy. I do know that some parts, like UNICHIPs, come from South Africa though, maybe it's an extension of the same company
Why do you say stole

Have a look at this

See the stolen intercooler design at the bottom of the page.
I had to copy and paste into paint then zoom to 200% to read the artical.
I think there is more to this story.
I bet

This product has been around a while now. I saw it in a photo in volume 1 of Go MINI magazine. This would have been back at the Detroit Pulley Party - December 03. ...Although I doubt it was available at that point - just a photo/prototype.
I showed the picture (from Go MINI) to Randy Webb. He said something to the extent of "it looked interesting". ...I guess interesting enough for him to pursue it, test it, and sell it. ...If enough customers ask for it he's going to look into it. ...And many of us were interested in an FMIC.
As I understand it Randy's testing observed several things:
a) Despite its seemingly convoluted routing - it worked
b) it was "as loud as a fire truck" - even a water>air IC wouldn't fix this
c) It required modification of the OE bumper
d) It was costly
Randy has offered his opinion that this FMIC is not (practical) for streeting - due to b & C.
What wasn't said, but was rumored is that the carbon fiber began to develop cracks - due to engine motion. ...While un/spoken/proven, if true it would certainly temper Mr. Webb's enthusiasm to recommend the product.
I suspect the above points may be why Randy only recommends the FMIC for track use.

The SAC/Webb FMIC was the first I'd ever seen for a new MINI. ...And it looks damn sexy! In contrast the next I saw were NUZZO's FMIC's. Which are very custom, appear to be quite an involved modification & appear to be the only 2 in existence. IMHO There must be a reason for all this.
Irrespective of any cons the SAC/Webb FMIC may have... I say good work by all involved! ...Especially to Randy for pony-ing up to test the product & flogging the snot out on the track. His experience(s) benefit us, and the inventor/mnfr.
...So, who cares that Randy didn't make it? He's put it through some SERIOUS hard core testing and has shared his opinion/conclusions. AND If after all that (understanding what the product is for/its limitations) you still want one... he'll sell it to you. Pretty good in my book.

I can comment on the volume of the item in question. I drove against a mini equipped with one last summer at Willow Springs. You can not beleive the scream. I could hear it clear as a bell everytime I passed it
and I had my helmet on and my car is not exactly quiet. I like my toys loud and this was unbearable. The thin CF tubes do nothing to quiet the scream of the supercharger and if anything amplify it . Additionally I think that there is some sort of problem with the ends of the cf tubes becoming brittley and cracking due to engine vibrations but I am not 100% sure on that point. The loud part , THAT I am sure of LOL
