grs vs alta intercooler, any thoughts?

hi
i have a 2003 mini cooper s and would like to buy a aftermarket intercooler, any suggestions as to which one to pick. also is it hard to hook up a oil catch can on a stock intercooler?

its debateable.. but i dont think you can feel much difference between the two...
i have a grs too, and i love it...

.... and I have the Alta and like it very much.

Randy Webb is undergoing some testing of the GRS I beleive and should have some honest comparison numbers between it and the Alta and some others.

Night and day? No, not really, but a few added HP, yes.

I have seen a number of gain in boost is that posible with an aftermarket intercooler?

I have the GRS and am happy with it. As for noticeable gains...it is hard to tell, different days, different outside temps. It does seem to be faster (Pocono HPDE day) I was there with the stock intercooler and then again a month later with the GRS. I have a 17% pulley and it seems to work well with it.
As for a oil catch can, there should be no difference in hooking it up. I have a Alta catch can on mine.
