Would F56 JCW brakes fit on R56 Cooper S?

Hey everyone.

Question is pretty much obvious from the headline.

Anyone have any idea?

Much more trouble than it would be worth. You'll need custom brackets, likely custom rotors, custom brake lines... By the time you add up the cost, you install a set of 'made for R56' big brakes.

ECS tuning has the brackets to adapt BMW 135i brake calipers which work with GP2 rotors so that’s another option for an OEM sort of brake upgrade.

The GP2 / 135i calipers are an excellent big brake option, just make sure you check clearance before you commit - they are HUGE

Those are GP2 calipers and rotors. You can also use 135i sport calipers. There is a thread here somewhere that outlines the conversion. To use the 135i sport calipers, you will either need to purchase special caliper brackets or modify the 135i caliper brackets.

GP calipers but custom lightweight rotors.
