Drivetrain ARP exhaust cam bolt? N14 r56
ARP exhaust cam bolt? N14 r56
I’m looking for an exhaust cam bolt I can reuse after making a degree change to the cat cams. Anyone done this? Or do I need to just change the bolt every time until I figure out where it wants to be🤦♂️
According to the ARP website, it's also for N14. I only linked the Detroit Tuned website since it listed a torque spec and made reference to being reusable.

ARP doesn't make anything thing for that engine. so every time you make a change you will need new bolts, but there is only one setting for the cams. it has to be in time.

Well not true really. You can still change the degree on the exhaust side. Just because they have a tool to keep everything aligned doesn’t mean you can’t change it for more performance. Why do you think they made it so they can adjust it in the n18?

I was talking about timing, not in general.

The N18 is a totally different motor, with different pistons, different adjustable cam timing, 2 vaonos solenoids, a longer chain. the N14 is 1 and done.
